Task
Physical education helps us to learn
new and exciting skills in a variety of
different ways, the many varied activities
involved in physical education ensures that
there is something for everyone to enjoy!
Your teacher would like your class to be
involved in planning a part of your physical
education program.
Your task is to work in groups of 3 or
4 and design one physical activity to focus
on one or more of the following areas:
 |
 |
Dance |
| |
 |
Games |
| |
 |
Fitness |
| |
 |
Movement skills |
Some important things to consider are:
 |
 |
What is the activity? |
| |
 |
How is it performed or played? |
| |
 |
Where is it to be conducted - eg.
On the oval, tennis court. Can it be
played outside of school such as the
beach or park? |
| |
 |
Equipment needed? |
| |
 |
Any safety rules? |
| |
 |
Does it allow all students to participate? |
On the computer, design an A4 flyer about
the activity, equipment needed, where, how
long, any rules etc. Remember this will
be assessed not only on the type of activity
you design but also the information given
and the design of the flyer.
As a class, here's a fun activity with
a bit of variety to try.
