Learning Quest > Variety - You...! Me...! ... Variety...Teacher's Notes > Delivery

This Learning Quest, if completed in full, will take approximately 3 - 4 weeks. However this Learning Quest is flexible and can be broken down into the different sections, for example you may want to use the section called, 'What Makes Me, Me!' and nothing else. That is fine. However, if you do this then the assessment rubric will need to be altered.

The assessment rubric is a tool, which allows the learner to reflect on what they have achieved. It can be used for self, peer and teacher assessment.

This Learning Quest encourages students to work in small groups, pairs, individually and as a class.

You may need to start this Learning Quest with a discussion on body image and what this means. Talk about such things as the role that sport plays in Australian culture and sport role models or celebrities. Ask questions like:

Who are your sports role models or celebrities?
What sports do they play? What do they do?
Do you believe image of sport stars/celebrities to be positive or negative in promoting healthy body image?
